Obituary
Terry Lee Murray was born December 7, 1954 to Ruby White and O.B. Carmichael. He left to be with the Lord on Friday, November 14, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center. He graduated from Mullins High School, SC and was known for playing football at Mullins. He was a lifelong-time resident of Winston-Salem, NC.
Mr. Murray worked at the Marriott Hotel for 14 ½ years and would call everyone "Bruce" or "Brut."
He is preceded in death by his father, O.B. Carmichael.
He is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Denise Little; four grandsons, Christopher R. Jarvis, Jr., Da'Quan E. McLean, Arvione Z. Jarvis and Devonttae O. McLean; three brothers, Michael (Sabrina) Murray, Tyrone Byrd, and Delray Byrd; two sisters, Monalisa Byrd and LuGenia Byrd; an uncle, Robert (LuLa) Murray, Jr.; a long time devoted friend, Lillian Little; three nieces and eight nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday, November 22, 2008 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be held from 10:30 am until 11 am Saturday at the funeral home.
