Our beloved daughter, sister, niece and friend, Deaconess Terrika Lynette Wadelington, entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 5, 2021.

Born on January 20, 1979 in Winston Salem, NC, she was the daughter of Linell Wadelington of Winston Salem, NC and the late Terry Lee Wadelington.

At the time of her death, Terrika was employed by Alight Solutions. Terrika was a graduate of South Stokes High School in Walnut Cove, NC. Terrika enjoyed the game of football and was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. Terrika accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Rock Hill Baptist Church of Walnut Cove, NC.  Later, after relocating to Winston-Salem, NC, Terrika joined the Macedonia Worship Center and was a devoted member where she served in several capacities for over 20 years. Deaconess Wadelington loved the Lord and displayed her commitment in service to everyone. She did not meet a stranger and had a special way of making you smile. With a warm heart and a wide hand, she gave her treasures, time, and talents.

Those left to cherish precious memories are her mother, Linell Wadelington of the home; sisters, Torri Wadelington (Antione Miller) of Winston Salem, NC and LaSha "Sha" Hunter (Darren Hunter) of Winston Salem, NC; three nephews, Terrius Wadelington, Tristen Wadelington (Godson), and Jaylan Noble; her one and only niece, LaShawnta Scott; two great-nieces, Nyla Watson and Nevaeh Leigh Stewart who is also her Goddaughter and the apple of her eye: one great-nephew, Neal, Jr.; a host of uncles, aunts, and one in particular "FA" (favorite Aunt) Lady Candi Wallace, cousins, and other relatives; Elder L. Marie Roberts, her very devoted best-friend and confidant; Deacon Leon Moore (friend); and a host of loving friends.

Deaconess Terrika Lynette Wadelington was loved by everyone who knew her! Her wonderful memories will forever remain in our hearts and minds. We love and miss you. We'll see you in the morning!

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 6:00pm Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Friday, April 9, 2021 at Transformation Ministries, 4880 Burnett Drive W-S, NC 27105.  Interment will follow in the Rock Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 4873 Pine Hall Road Walnut Cove, NC 27052.
