Mr. Terrice "Tyrone" Griffin was born March 22, 1967 to Sandra Griffin and Bernard Johnson in Winston-Salem, NC He departed his life on June 26, 2022 at his home.

He attended the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System.  He was reared in the church and attended the Messiah Community Church of Christ.  Mr. Griffin loved to paint, clean, listen to music, and cook.  Out of everything in life he cherished his children the most.

Tyrone was preceded in death by his parents, Sandra Griffin and Bernard Johnson.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his six children, Nicole (Tyron, Sr.) Witcher, Terrice Tyrone Springs, Terrice JaVon Morgan, Saroya Lewis, Monique Griffin, and Tyrese Griffin; five grandchildren, Malachi Witcher, Tyron Witcher, Jr., Benjamin Ward-Morgan, Ne'Vaeh Surles, and Ezra Morgan; sister, Robin Griffin; two brothers, Tony Johnson and Brannan Johnson; aunts and uncle, Beulah Hoover, Margaret Covington, Bertha Griffin, and James Griffin; nieces, Sha'Donna Bennett and Brooklynn Johnson; nephews, Cortni Griffin, Brannan Johnson, III, and Tyrin Johnson; his long-term life partner, Monica; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joseph R. Cobbs officiating.
