Obituary

Te'ore Eugene Terry was born on February 4, 1986 in Boston, Massachusetts. Te'ore was a fun and loving child whose best friend was his sister, Tori. They would play for hours; Tori was his protector. Te'ore was an adventurous child. Just as siblings squabbled, he did with his 3 brothers: Troy-the oldest, Te'von-the middle, and Darrell. He also played the big brother role with his baby brother, Douglas and his little sister, Cori. Te'ore was the best brother and he taught them to live their lives and not let anyone tell you different.

Upon moving to Winston-Salem, NC Te'Ore attended Parkland High School, but spent the majority of his 9 th -12 th grade years at West Forsyth High School where he was a Class of 2004 graduate. After graduation he attended Forsyth Technical Community College where he majored in automotive equipment.  He enjoyed this major and it came in handy for his family!

Te'Ore worked at CVS for many years, becoming a familiar face for the community and his customers.  He also worked in the cleaning services with Bishop Tate who became a mentor to him, as a youth counselor at Camp Hanes, and alongside Bill McClain at Mr. Bill's Productions.

When you think of Te'Ore, you knew that he loved his family and was an amazing son, brother, and friend.

Te'Ore was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas and Lenora Terry.

Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Velma Elizabeth Terry; four brothers, Troy, Te'von, Darrell, and Douglas; two sisters, Tori and Cori; 5 nieces and 5 nephews; aunts, Ethel (Anthony) Dancy, Doris Terry, Rosa James, and Angela Randall all of the city, and Regina (Christopher) Green of Taunton, MA; an uncle, Thomas (Emma) Terry of Boston, MA; and a host cousins, extended family, and friends who will love and miss him greatly.

THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC VIEWING. Private services will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2021.
