Obituary
On February 25, 2013, God called home a great man to his glory. Ted Mebane was born September 3, 1928 in W-S, NC.
Mr. Mebane worked for the City of W-S Sanitation Department and retired after 26 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Rosella Mebane; two children, Debra Mebane (Robert) Jones of the city and Teddy (Robin) Mebane of Arizona; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He will be dearly missed.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30am Friday, March 1, 2013 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Godwin Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 11am until 11:30am on Friday at the Chapel.
