Obituary
Mr. Ted Cuthrell, a life-long resident of the city, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Wake Forest Baptist Health.
Ted attended the local schools, graduating from Atkins Sr. High School, was a member of the United States Air Force, and retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company and Triple AAA.
Ted leaves to carry on his memories two brothers, Ned Cuthrell of Hyattsville, MD and Jerry Evans of the city; seven sisters, Joanne Wilkins of Raleigh, NC, Kay F. Harris, Mildred McMullen, Delores (Cleveland) Brown, DeBorah, Lillian, and Beulah Evans all of the city; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 10am until 11am on Saturday at the Chapel.
The family wishes to express thanks to his caregivers, Richard and Rockanne Littlejohn and May Frances Glenn.
