Tammy L. Talbert answered the Master's call on Sunday, December 3, 2017.  She was born February 18, 1959 to Meredith "Tippy" Davis & Mary Louise Thompson.

She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and was a faithful member of the Mass Choir, Cathedral Choir, and Sunday school until her health declined.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish her memories are one son, Charles (Latrice) Talbert, Jr.; two grandsons, Charles D. Talbert and Cahelil Talbert; one granddaughter, Aamoni Talbert; one Goddaughter, Ericka Watkins; three brothers, Steven R. (Lerine) Thompson, Stanley R. Thompson, and Francisco (Claudette) Hardnez; five sisters, Geraland D. (Aaron) Jarrett, Marilyn Thompson, Tina Williams, Cheryl Green, and Sandra (George) Morrison; one aunt, Mabel Evans; special friend, Willie Conrad; devoted friends, Tiffany Thompson and daughter, Iiehlani Thompson, Derwanda Harris, Lynette Payne, Stephanie Benson, Sharon Lloyd, and Vanessa McPherson; and a host of other cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Friendship Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Lester Boyd officiating. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12:00noon on Saturday at the Church.
