Tammy Renay Robinson gained her wings on Friday morning, March 1, 2019.  She peacefully transitioned following an extended illness surrounded and supported by her loving family and friends.

Tammy was born on October 6, 1964 to Priscilla Cook in Winston Salem, NC.  Growing up, Tammy was surrounded by a large loving family. Tammy was a lifelong resident of Winston-Salem and had many friends and acquaintances. She graduated from West Forsyth High School and after graduation she started her next chapter of life working at Sara Lee as a Quality Inspector. After many years of dedicated service, she started her career at Dell Computers. She was one of the first groups of employees hired at the new Dell plant in Winston-Salem and was trained in the corporate facility in Texas.  Tammy moved on to Ashley Furniture after Dell closed its doors in Winston Salem.

Tammy's shining moment was the birth of her son, Tory Lamont Robinson.  Tory was the joy in Tammy's life and his wellbeing was her primary focus.

Her loving grandmother, Naomi Venson, preceded Tammy in death.

Left to cherish her memories include her loving son, Tory Lamont Robinson; caring mother, Priscilla Cook; devoted sister, Doral Cook of Tampa, FL; nephew, Jordan Kaufman of Tampa, FL; aunts, Judy Martin (Willie), Caroline Neely (James), and Pamela Burton; uncles, Otis Lee Venson, Jr. and Anthony Venson (Melvira); and a big host of loving caring cousins and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 1:30pm Thursday, March 7, 2019 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel, 822 Carl Russell Ave. W-S, NC 27101.  The family visitation will be held from 1:00pm until 1:30pm on Thursday at the Chapel.
