Obituary

Tahjmel Brim was born October 8, 1998 in Winston-Salem, NC to Comar Brim and Trisha Marsh. He was a loving, kindhearted young man and above all he was a Christian who was always willing to help his fellow man. He visited family and friends often, ensuring they always felt his love. A brave soul at heart, Tahjmel was never afraid to try new things.

After attending Carver High School, he began working at Carmike 10 Movie Theater. He went on to master several trades obtaining an electrical apprenticeship, forklift license, obtained his CDL, then eventually starting a cargo van business.

He is survived by his mother and father; siblings, Javon, Tahleah, Tahkeem, and Brayden; grandmothers, Brenda, Zenobia and Carolyn; grandfather, Williard B. Coker; aunts, Brandy and Carmen; uncles, Stephon, Antwan, Ahmed, Micah, and Raheem; great aunts and uncles, Robert, Shelia, Sharon, Patricia, Leon, Cee Cee, Reggie, Florence, Diane, Peggy, Darlene, Carolyn, Karen, and Corinthia; a host of family members including the Brim, Coker, Cash, Marsh, Newman, Russell, Truesdale, Samuels, Bruton, Brinkley, Bell, Liscomb, Posey, Alford and Todd families; and many, many more friends..

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Friday, March 6, 2026 at Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1:00pm on Friday at the Church.
