Syveria Annette Hauser was born May 13, 1962 to the late Osa M. Johnson and Ralph Hauser.  She departed this earth on June 26, 2023.  She was one of three children that included Nina M. Johnson and Bryan (Christy) Johnson. Syveria was raised in Winston-Salem, NC.

Syveria graduated from Winston-Salem State University in May of 1984.  She worked as an Executive Associate at Faith Health-Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist.  She was a co-leader of the ACY Group, active member of Catholic Charities, and the Director of Faith Formation for St. Benedict.  She served communions to the senior and elderly members of her neighborhood on Sundays and holidays, was a Eucharist Minister, and was responsible for the weekly recordings of the funeral mass on Facebook Live.

Left to cherish her memories are her sister, Nina Johnson; brother, Bryan (Christy) Johnson; niece, Christina Johnson; cousins, Ruth and Edward Gary; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00pm Friday, June 30, 2023 at St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church.
