Miss Sycenia Denee Wilson, departed her life unexpectedly on December 6, 2007 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She was employed by Baptist Hospital for several years. She attended the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools. Sycenia graduated from Mount Tabor High School, Class of 1987. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joann Wilson and grandmother, Essie Mae Wilson.

She leaves to cherish her two very close children; son, Mark Shawn Wilson and daughter Latrice Tree Wilson of the home; father, Curtis Olford; grandmother, Betty Albright, three sisters; Syveria Wilson, Sabrina Wilson, and Stephanie (Donald) Snow all of Winston-Salem; four brothers, Marquette Wilson of Colorado Springs, Quincy (Kysha) Wilson of Kernersville, NC, Gerald (Shenae) Atwater of Winston-Salem and Nathaniel (Celeste) Flowers of Hinesville, GA, several close and devoted friends Gail Tart, Annette Lowery, Pamela Hall, Marty McCollum, and Ardeal (Nut) Roseboro, a very special Godmother Samelle Henry and two Godchildren; Javan and Shaquinionia Henry, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 3:00pm at Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Family visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 3:00pm at the Chapel. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses in ICU at WFBMC.
