Obituary
Susie Ann Greer was born November 11, 1936 in Winston-Salem, NC to Isabelle and Hissie Lane, Sr. She was called home December 29, 2008. She worked for Forsyth County School System for over 17 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Hissie Lane, Jr. and Wade Lane; one sister, Betty Lane Adams; and one beloved son, Aldrick "Knuckles" Greer.
Mrs. Greer is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, John H. Greer, Sr.; one brother, James Cecil Lane; six loving children, John H. Greer, Jr., Marie A. Greer, Cynthia D. Greer, Teresa G. McLean, Leonard K. Greer, and Jermaine C. Greer; fourteen adoring grandchildren; thirteen special great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Saturday, January 3, 2008 from the St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend James Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from Noon until 1pm on Saturday at the Church.
