Susan D. Moore was born on May 15, 1970 in Washington, DC to Dr. and Mrs. Green Moore. She departed this life on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at the home of her parents.

She attended and graduated from Forsyth County public schools. She was a graduate of Carver High School Class of 1988. Upon graduating she attended UNC Charlotte.

She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Mrs. Pauline Moore; father, Dr. Green Moore; one loving daughter, Alexis Lavonne Durah; one sister, Paula A. Moore; one brother, Warren G. Moore (Georjean); three nieces: Brianna Moore, Whitney Moore and Mariah Moore; two nephews: Milan T. Ruffin and Kendall Moore and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Monday, August 5, 2013 at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. Roland Cohen officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12noon on Monday at the Church.
