Mr. Stevie Forest Johnson, 41, of Rural Hall, NC was born September 8, 1967 in Scotland County, NC. He attended schools in Laurinburg prior to his move to Winston-Salem. Stevie was last employed by the City of Winston-Salem, where he worked for a number of years prior to his health problems.

He is survived by his mother, Bertha (Robert) Tyson; one son, Steven, along with his mother, Margo; one daughter, Nadia; one brother, Robert (Lakesia) Johnson; two sisters, Christina Austin and Darlene Austin Davis; four nieces, two nephews, a close friend, Cecil; special uncle and aunt, Thomas & Denise Johnson, of Winston-Salem and a host of cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 PM Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, September 3, 2009 at Laurel Hill First Baptist Church, Laurel Hill, NC. Interment will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery, Laurel Hill, NC. The family visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Thursday at the church.
