Steven Douglas Caesar yielded to his Master's call on October 21, 2023 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center. Steven was born August 27, 1952 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to Jimmy B. Caesar and Mozelle H. Caesar. He joined Kimberly Park Holiness Church at an early age and was baptized by Bishop S.M. Caesar. Steven was a graduate of North Forsyth High School class of 1971. He graduated from Russell's Business School and also held an Associates Degree in Accounting from Davis Accounting.

Steven is survived by his loving wife Pamela Fuller Caesar; three children, Steven Douglas Caesar Jr., Deanna Cathcart, and Stephanie Caesar; three brothers, Elder Alan Caesar, Darren Caesar, and Christopher Caesar; one sister, Ann E. Lyerly; one sister-in-law, Valencia W. Caesar; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Steven was lovingly nicknamed "Piggy" and was adored by many. He was an outstanding father figure to many children and believed in knowing who your family is. Piggy will be missed. He truly left a legacy of honor and will never be forgotten.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30am Friday, November 3, 2023 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel.  The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 11:30am on Friday at the Chapel.
