Mrs. Stephanie Rose Burns, affectionately known to family and friends as "STEP", of 5031 Brian Center Lane, departed this life on Friday, March 7, 2014. She was born July 31, 1948 in Columbia, SC to Robert and Edna Jenerette.

She was a graduate of Columbia High School, Class of '67, attended the University of South Carolina and Midland Technical College. She was employed in Columbia, SC with Carolina Heart Association, Department of Social Security, and Pepsi Bottling Company. In 1975, she transferred to Pepsi Bottling Company of W-S until 2008.

She joined Piney Grove Baptist Church May 1, 1994 where she became a faithful servant of God and was very active in the Missionary Circle, Intercessory Prayer Ministry, Sunday School Teacher, and Outreach Ministry where she remained faithful until the time of her illness.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert "Eddie" Jenerette; and her brother, Jacky Jenerette.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories her husband, Timothy Burns; mother, Edna Jenerette; one son, Robert Jenkins; three daughters, Angela Jenkins-Goodman (Cletis), LaShauna Harrison, and Lisa McMillan (Reginald); two brothers, Cornelius and Tony Jenerette; sister, Hazel Hampton; mother-in-law, Julia C. Burns; four sisters-in-law, Julia Burns-Martin, Linda Burns-Chambers, Cassandra Burns, and Priscilla A. Burns; four brothers-in-law, Thomas H. Burns, Carl Burns (Roxie), Myron (Patricia), and Monte (Cynthia); a devoted sister-in-Christ, Minister Bonnie Kirkpatrick; and a host of step-sisters, step-brothers, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a wonderful church family.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Piney Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. James Linville officiating. Interment will follow in the Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 1pm until 1:30pm on Thursday at the Church.
