Stella Bradshaw Harbor peacefully departed from this life on December 10, 2021.  She was born on June 21, 1935 in York, South Carolina to the late Lucille Bradshaw and George Bowen.  She was educated in the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School system and graduated from Atkins High School.  She graduated from Kate Bitting Reynolds Nursing School and began her career as a registered nurse at Kate Bitting Reynolds Memorial Hospital and worked there until moving to Forsyth Memorial Hospital where she remained until retirement.

Stella was a devoted member of New Trinity Baptist Church and volunteered at several charity and non-profit organizations throughout the city of Winston-Salem.

Stella was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Harbor; and her daughter, Donice M. Harbor.  She is survived by her son, Kerry T. Harbor; her grandchildren, Thomas M. Harbor and Donice G. Harbor;  her sisters, Mary E. Samuels and Carolyn Hairston (Nathaniel); her brother, Freddie R. Bradshaw (Debra); and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Russell Funeral Home.

Private funeral services will be held Friday, December 17, 2021 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens.
