Obituary
Stanley Johnson Loggins, 56, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2011.
He was born on August 26, 1955 in Martinsville, VA, the son of David Loggins and Alease Bowles Loggins. He was a graduate of Carver High School in Winston-Salem, NC. He attended Johnson C. Smith University and UNC-Charlotte in Charlotte, NC.
"Stan" was employed by MTI Construction in Washington, DC; Sara Lee Corporation and National Pipe and Plastic, Inc. in Winston-Salem, NC.
He was a friendly and outgoing person who had a wonderful sense of humor. He was able to weave hilarious stories into his normal conversation. This was a gift that he received from his father.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Loggins.
Stan is survived by his mother, Alease Bowles Loggins; his son, Antoine D. Green of Hartford, CT; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Thursday, December 15, 2011 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Samuel Stevenson officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 10:30am until 11am on Thursday at the funeral home.
