Somoria Rena Williamson was born June 20, 1961 to Martha Williamson Cross and the late Samuel Williamson Sr. She departed this life on August 1, 2014.
Somoria, better known as "Punkin", "Super Star", and "Aunt P", graduated from West Forsyth High School. She attended Macedonia Worship Center all her life and grew up singing on the youth choir. Punkin really loved spending time with her family and friends.
Punkin was preceded in death by her father; and a brother, Samuel Williamson Jr.
She leaves to cherish fond memories her mother,Martha Williamson Cross; 2 sons, Leander and Christopher Williamson; a special friend, Armond Smith; 2 grandchildren, Davion Moore and LeAnzi Williamson; 1 brother, Vincent Williamson; 3 sisters, Cynthia Williamson, Tamara (Stanley) Hairston and Anna Crawford; 3 aunts, Ruthie Davis, Shirley (Willie) Singletary and Catherine (William) Heyer; 5 uncles, Bennie (Emma) Crowell of Columbia, SC, Lysander Crowell, Donald (Odessa) Scales, Ernest (Thomasina) Gardner and David (Sharon) Scales of Jersey City, NJ; Godmother, Thelma Johnson; Devoted friends, Deborah Meeks and Van Jamison; a very special cousin, Carol Green; special nieces, Shavon and Shanita Williamson and Trenee Crawford; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12noon Monday, August 11, 2014 at Macedonia Worship Center. The family visitation will be held from 11am until 12noon on Monday at the Church.
