Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Solomon D. Hanna of Pfafftown, NC passed away on May 18, 2007. He was born to James and Alma Hanna.
He retired from the City of Winston-Salem and was a member of Christian Fountain Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Left to carry on his legacy are his wife of 48 years, Mary W. Hanna of the home; two sons, David (Ponda) Hanna of Brandywine, MD and Kenneth (Tamika) Hanna of Kernersville, NC; four grandchildren, Brittany and Christian Hanna of Kernersville, NC and David, Jr. and Jalen Hanna of Brandywine, MD; and a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Friday, May 25, 2007 at Christian Fountain Church, 502 N. Broad Street, Winston-Salem, NC with Reverend Ray Watlington officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 11:30 am until 12 noon on Friday at the Church.
