Shelia Renee Reeves Jackson, 59, was born June 2, 1956 to the late Easter Mae Duncan and James E. Reeves. She departed this earthly life on Saturday, November 28, 2015.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, James S. Reeves; sister, Gloria R. Broadway; brothers-in-law, James Bradley and Billy W. Miller; and her uncle, Mozell Duncan, Sr.

Left to cherish her memories are her earthly mother who adopted her at an early age following her birth mothers death, Mrs. Annie E. Penn; daughter "her baby", Ayona Patrice Reeves of Hermitage, TN; husband, Jerry Jackson of Pomona, CA; sisters, Constance R. Bradley, Carolyn R. Miller, and Elaine H. Bevels; brother, Lester Davis; sisters-in-law, D'Arcy Weathers and Mildred Reeves; brothers-in-law, James R. Broadway and Joey (Bonnie) Jackson; nieces, Antionette (James) Britton, April (Arthur Jackson) Broadway, Geraldine Torrence, and LaTresha Moore; nephews, Robert (Angela) Moore and Maurice (Kelly) Profitt; Godchildren, Brandon Black and Patricia "Patty" Perrin;her Olde North Village Friends and Cleveland Avenue Homes Friends; and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Monday, December 7, 2015 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Edward Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12noon on Monday at the Chapel.
