Mr. Shaunte Jermain Rhyne, Jr., aka "Boodie" and "Johnny" was born April 21, 2000 in Winston-Salem, NC to Dequanda Samuels and Shaunte Rhyne, Sr. Shaunte departed this life and went with the Lord, Monday, April 25, 2022.

He was a loving father, son, grandson, nephew and brother. He was the blackest thing walking with a bright smile that lit the entire room. He had a unique voice and enjoyed rapping and hanging with his brothers and sisters.

Shaunte was preceded in death by his great grandparents; son, Kashi; his cousin, Bryant White; and brother, Jeshown Marion (Smokey).

He leaves to cherish precious memories, his mother, Dequanda (Marcus) Samuels; father, Shaunte (Tara) Rhyne, Sr.; grandparents, Princilla and Marcus Thomas, Gerald Samuels, Doris Samuels and Veanna Rhyne; special children, Aveana and Kasen; brothers, Ahking Williams, Javon Lowery, Jessie Marion, Sincere West, and Donte Rhyne; sisters, Sinya Samuels (Chop), Sinaa Allen, Janeshia Marion (Memaw), Chequoyia Lampkins, Kalis Patterson and Dasia Carpenter; aunts and uncles, Sylvester Gist, Latonya Gist, Dequince Samuels, Tyreik Watson, Shonteal Gist, Devin Gist, and Tameka Rhyne; godmothers, Alicia Friend, Tasha Pinet and Stephanie Caesar; godfather, Confucius Patterson (Flip) and girlfriend, Kambria Omar; and a host of family and friends.
