Obituary

Setth Jerrome Kal-El Brown, born on January 2, 1994, to Vicki Herman and David J. Brown, in Buffalo NY passed away peacefully on March 6, 2024, at 9:51 pm, surrounded by loved ones.

Setth was a cherished son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend whose presence touched the lives of all who knew him. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.

Setth graduated from Parkland High School in Winston Salem, NC and attended Forsyth Technical Community College of North Carolina. June of this year Setth was excited to start school at CPCC for Cypher Security. In February of 2022, he started a cleaning service, Maid's Life N.C., that was showing successes before his health issues, but that he had a desire to start again.

Throughout his life, Setth was known for his interests in drawing, dancing, traveling. His enthusiasm was contagious, and he had a remarkable ability to bring joy to those around him. He had a quirkiness that made you laugh and a very positive outlook on life even when he was battling illness.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfathers, Jesse Hines and James Hyman; brother, Jerome DA Brown; grandparents, George O. Brown and Willie Mae Brown; uncle, Ricky Coleman; and aunts, Paula Mae Brown and Renee D. Brown.

He is survived by his mother and father, Vicki and David; grandmother, Deloris Hines of Winston-Salem, NC; half siblings, Justin D. Brown of Texas and Arlisea T. Brown of Georgia; stepsister, Sondra Leslie-Jackson of Charlotte NC; aunts, Kisha Dockery of Winston-Salem, NC and Annette Brown-Doran of Buffalo, NY; uncles, Allenard Copeland (Donna) of Washington, DC, Anthony Herman (Jomye) Hiram of Georgia, Freddie Brown (Yvonne) of Charleston SC, and Tony Coleman of Winston-Salem, NC; special cousin, Ashlie Nichol, who was more of a sister than a cousin, they were partners in crime and Bryant Penn; friends who he loved like brothers, Jordan Brown and Dominique Jones "Nick"; as well as a host of great-aunts, cousins, and friends.

Seth Jerrome Kal-El Brown will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May his spirit live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
