Obituary
Ms. Sebie M. Johnson, 77, departed this earthly life on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at the Wake Forest University/Baptist Medical Center. She was born on October 29, 1929 to Thomas and Rilla Garvens Mack.
She was a retired employee of the Wake Forest University/Baptist Medical Center Department of Clinics and a member of Saint James AME Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Mozelle McCoy; four brothers; and one son, Wesley Johnson.
Ms. Johnson is survived by one son, Derry Johnson of Winston-Salem, NC; three grandchildren, Tracey Hadley Mason (Steve), Rodney Thomas Buston, and Thomas Hunter; one brother, J.P.Mack of South Carolina; a devoted niece, Manly Click of Winston-Salem, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 12, 2007 at 1:00 PM from the Saint James AME Church with Reverend Godfrey Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12 NOON until 1:00 PM on Friday at the Church.
