Scott Dominick "JR" Wagner was born on April 24, 1981 and departed this life on April 10, 2007 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Scott, affectionately known as "JR" by his family and friends attended Parkland High School and graduated from Forsyth Technical Community College in 1999. Scott was employed at Amp in Greensboro, NC until 2005. He was presently employed by Josten's Printing Company in Winston-Salem, NC. Scott was a self-proclaimed and talented artist whose works can be found in and around the family homes. Scott was a humble, kind, and loving person who found the most pleasure just being with his brothers, "Black & Pony".
Scott was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Johnny Quinnerly; his aunt and uncle, David and Dianne Harris; and his paternal grandparents, Smyle and Bernice Wilson Wagner.
He leaves to cherish his memories his parents, William and Ruby Hollman of the home; his father, S.T. Wagner, Jr. of Winston-Salem, NC; brothers, Christopher (Vivian) Wagner of Canton, VA, Smyle (Kia) Wagner, III, Stephen (Tiffany) Wagner and Dorcel Eldridge of Winston-Salem, NC, and Randall Shea (Vanessa) Wagner of Greenville, NC; one sister, Beverly Wagner of Raleigh, NC; his maternal grandmother, Eveline Quinnerly of Greenville, NC; one aunt, Mollie W. Neal of Canton, GA; an uncle, Tommy (Ruth) Harris of Greenville, NC; a devoted nephew, Joshua Wagner of Raleigh, NC; six nieces; six nephews; and a host of cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, April 13, 2007 at First Waughtown Baptist Church, 838 Moravia Rd., Winston-Salem, NC with the Reverend Dennis W. Bishop officiating. Internment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 12 Noon until 1 pm on Friday at the Church.
