Mrs. Sarah Wingate, 73 passed away December 16, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center.
She was born December 30, 1935 in Winston-Salem, NC to Thomas and Hattie Stukes and was a graduate of Atkins High School.
She attended Macedonia Worship Center.
Mrs. Wingate was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings; and her husband, Roosevelt W. Wingate.
Left to cherish her memories are her son, John Stukes; daughter, Rosalind Wingate; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
