Mrs. Sarah Viola Fultz Mack, 92, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2013 at W-S Rehabilitation Center, after an extensive period of illness. Mrs. Mack was born October 15, 1921 in Forsyth Co., NC to the late Ciscero and Georgia Fultz.

She was a faithful member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, for over 70 years, where she served faithfully on the Nan Sanders Missionary and the Senior Choir where she served diligently until her illness. She was also a member of the Glenn Avenue Flower Club. Mrs. Mack was a domestic worker for the Gibson and Johnson Family of the city, where she was thought of and respected as a family member.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Reverend Clifton Harvey Mack; daughter, Betty Lou Larkin; two sons, Richard Lee Mack and Willie Mack, Sr.; five sisters, Pearl, Susan, Liz, Katherine, and Essie; and three brothers, Jessie, John, and Robert.

Mrs. Mack is survived by her children, Delois (Floyd) Greene, Andree Marion (Margaret) Mack, Sr., and Ervin Harold Mack; 21 grandchildren; a devoted great-granddaughter, Tenesha Larkin; a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her daughter-in-law, Nikki Cross; three devoted sisters-in-law, Francis Mack, Claudette Mack, and Doretha Mack; brother-in-law, Hiawatha Mack; two devoted friends, Juanita Williams and Mary Jenkins; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. John Mendez officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1pm on Wednesday at the Church.
