Mrs. Sarah Lynn Barge, 74, crossed over May 26, 2016. She was born October 20, 1941 in Lumberton, NC, the daughter of Johnny and Nezzie Geralds. She was educated in the Cumberland County School System. Sarah lived in New York for 40plus years where she raised two daughters and was a member of First Baptist Church in Spring Valley, NY. At the time of her death she was a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church W-S, NC.

In addition to her parents, Sarah was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Geralds; and four brothers, Linwood, Johnny, Horace, and Lawrence Geralds.

Sarah is survived by her two daughters, Judy and Lynn Jackson; two other daughters, Marcia and Gloria; one special daughter, Lenevarainey; one sister, Myrtle Cummingham; one special sister "BFF", Joan Short; two brothers, Nelson and Earl Geralds; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30pm Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Nathan E. Scovens officiating. The family visitation will be held from 2:00pm until 2:30pm on Saturday at the Church. Entombment will be held on Monday, June 6, 2016 in Crestview Memorial Park.
