Father God breathed life into Little Miss Santanoria Tachelle Montgomery on March 10, 2005 to Santanna Michelle Montgomery and Christopher Bess-Brazeale.
Born at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC with all odds against her at birth, she prevailed to live life surviving multiple surgeries and battling many disabilities. She was a celebrity to everyone who knew her, bringing about smiles to everyone's day. She stamped prints on every soul she touched leaving behind nothing but joy. She was a third grader at the Children's Center in Winston-Salem, NC where no one was unknown as to who Santanoria "Nori" Montgomery was.
During her time there, she accomplished many goals and achievements to pursue self-independence. The sunrays of her precious life set on the morning of May 24, 2014 and a beautiful soul set sail to be with our Father Lord and Savior, only to suffer pain no more. Her purpose has been fulfilled and her home is now in Heaven.
She leaves to cherish her memories her parents, Santanna Montgomery, Christopher Bess-Brazeale, and her step-father, Anthony McDowell, Jr.; brother, Anthony "Tre" McDowell, III; step-sister, Lyriona Gillium; grandparents, Tomika Montgomery (Ray Gentry) and Gwendolyn Brazeale; great-grandparents, Haywood and Elaine Montgomery and Mary Brazeale; uncles, Michael Montgomery and Torriana Wilborn; aunt, Tanisha Wilborn; great-uncle, Michal Montgomery; great-aunt, Michelle and Shalonda Montgomery, and Mary Lee Brazeale; and a host of cousins, family members, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Rev. Dwight Hash officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1pm on Saturday at the Church.
