Sandra Dianne Boyd went to her heavenly home on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center. Sandra left with an angel of God to live in her heavenly home. She was born on June 7, 1951 in Forsyth County to the late Ruth Barr and Earl Green. She is preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Willie Earl Green, Melvin Lee Green and Johnny Edward Green.

Sandra was a devoted member of Greater St. Matthew Baptist Church where she was a Deaconess and Chairperson of the Usher Board.

She leaves to cherish loving memories, her devoted and loving husband, Deacon Willie Boyd; four children, Sonja (Matthew) Payne of Pensacola, FL, Shivenna Barr, Chauncey Barr, and Travis Barr all of Winston-Salem, NC; one sister, Jean Allen of Winston-Salem, NC; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends; and a devoted friend for 57 years, Reverend Druscilla Walker.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Greater St. Matthew Baptist Church, 149 Wheeler Street, W-S, NC 27101 with Rev. Theodus McFarlin officiating and Rev. William J. Purvis, Sr. eulogist. The family visitation will be held from 12:00noon until 1:00pm on Saturday at the Church.
