Obituary
Samuel Earl Brake, Sr. of 3730 Shepard Hill Road, Kernersville, NC was born on February 21, 1958 in Nash County, NC to Sam Pete and Ethel Brake. He departed this earthly life to be in the presence of the Lord on Monday, February 19, 2007.
Sam attended Nash County Public Schools and attended North Carolina Central University.
Sam and Alicia Townsend were united in marriage and from this union two children were born, Sam Earl Brake, Jr. and Brandy Kirishna Brake.
Sam gave his life to Christ at a young age and attended Oak Grove Baptist Church in Walkertown, NC.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Alicia Brake; his children; grandchildren; parents; one brother; one sister; and many other relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 23, 2007 at 1:00 PM from the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Walkertown, NC with Reverend Dr. Ethel Brake officiating and Reverend I.L. Anthony presiding. Interment will follow in the Eastlawn Gardens of Memory, Kernersville, NC. The family visitation will be held from 12 NOON until 1:00 PM on Friday at the Church.
