Salim Ajami Wright, a native of Winston-Salem, NC was born February 21, 1988 to the late Ronald Lindsay and Eugenia Wright. Mr. Wright went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.

Mr. Wright graduated from Parkland High School in Winston-Salem, NC with the class of 2006. He enjoyed music, art and enjoyed playing video games. He loved and enjoyed being with his family, especially his daughter.

He is survived by his daughter Mahjahnae Williams; his grandmother, Romona Hambrick; his sister, Shakeeta Wright; his brother, Donald Wright; aunts, Tonya Pouncy (James) and Arnita Printup (Steve) of Lithonia, Georgia; an uncle, Eric Wright; great aunts, Melody Wright, Arlene Dillworth and Arlene Dillworth; great uncle, Emory Wright of San Diego, California; nieces, Kyla Wright and Nakeba Lindsey; nephews, LaGerald Wright, Gerquez Wright, Curtis Wilborn, Jr., Christopher Wilborn, Donald Wright, Jr. and Ronald Wright, Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Wright was preceded in death by his parents; great aunts, Joletta Wright and Barbara Wright; and a great uncle, Earl Wright.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Monday, November 3, 2025 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 12:00pm until 1:00pm on Monday at the Chapel.
