Obituary
Mrs. Ruth R. Kenley, 90, went to be with the Lord on December 24, 2013. She was born in Pee Dee, NC on April 27, 1923 to Mary Crawford and James Spencer.
She was a devout Christian and faithful member of Goler Metropolitan AME Zion Church. During her life she touched the lives of many and never met a stranger.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bennie Kenley, Sr.; two brothers; and one sister.
She is survived by her loving son Bennie (Linda) Kenley, Jr.; one granddaughter, Autumn; one grandson, Christian; her great granddaughter, Eliana; sister, Mary Streeter; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Monday, December 30, 2013 at Goler Metropolitan AME Zion Church with Rev. Johnny Ruff officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will from 10:30am until 11am on Monday at the Church.
