Ruth Lee Dobson was born May 27, 1948 and departed this earthly life on May 5, 2019.  She was the daughter of Dorothy Gibson and John Gallman and the loving mother of Patrick Dobson and Bernard Dobson.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Patrick.

Left to cherish her memories and her legacy are her son, Bernard Dobson; three grandchildren, Keona Dobson, Bernard Smith, Shakeila Dobson; four great-grandchildren, Allen Redford, Derek Semaj Lamont Glenn, Zariya Dobson, and Shamyla Smith; her sister, Jean Gallman; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Friday, May 10, 2019 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12:00noon on Friday at the Chapel.
