Obituary
Mrs. Ruby Lee Gray Jackson, 94, passed away December 20, 2013 at Trinity Glen Nursing Home. She was born May 12, 1919 to Willie and Dollie Gray in Macon, GA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Toney H. Jackson, Sr.; and two daughters, Sandra Williams and JoAnn Jackson.
Mrs. Jackson leaves to cherish her memories her brother, Milton Gray of the city; four sons, Richard L. (Carolyn) Jackson, Melvin T. Jackson, Toney H. (Olivette) Jackson, Jr., and Paul R. Jackson; one daughter, Marie Johnson all of the city; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday, December 27, 2013 at Calvary Hill Apostolic Deliverance Ministries, 4951 Manning Rd. W-S, NC with Bishop Claude C. Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 1pm until 2pm on Friday at the Church.
The family will assemble and leave from the home of her niece, Rachel Scott at 732 Junia Ave. W-S, NC 27107.
