Mrs. Ruby C. Glaspy, 80 years old, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2022 at home. She was born to Carrie Lee Watson and Weymon Cunningham. She worked for RJ Reynolds for 30 years. Miss Ruby was also the Lead Singer of the group "Black Country."

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Fredrick Glaspy.

Surviving are her son, Gerald (Evelyn) Glaspy; one granddaughter, Natasha Glaspy; two sisters, Enda (Johnny) Sigers and Clara Cunningham; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Russell Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Ruby C. Glaspy will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 10:30am until 11:00am on Wednesday at the Chapel.
