Ruby F. Brunson, daughter of the late Mary Mumford, was born on February 8, 1934 in Winston Salem, North Carolina. She made her transition into eternal life on Friday, May 26, 2017.
Ruby F. Brunson was a true asset to her community, she loved to help others in any way that she could. As a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality, she was loved by many. She was a dedicated and hardworking woman while working as a caregiver for all ages. Her interests included family, singing and dressing up for events and activities.

Ruby will always be remembered as a person who loved to see others happy, smiling and laughing. She had a heart filled of love and compassion. Ruby was the true definition of a good woman, she set a fine example and brought love to everyone she came across. Her presence, love as well as our fond memories of her will always remain with us and she will truly be missed.
She is survived by a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Todd L. Fulton officiating.
