Mr. Rowchester Williams, affectionately known as "Chester", was born December 24, 1948 to Richard and Pearl Williams. He was summoned from this side of Jordan to be with the Lord on Monday, December 12, 2016 at Silas Creek Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

He was a native of Latta, SC and was a resident of Winston-Salem, NC for a great part of his life. He was employed by Forsyth Medical Center for over 25 years and was also employed and worked for over 10 years for his dear friend, Richard Sickles, doing landscaping and yard work.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth Williams, Janie Sellars, and Mary Bethea.

He will have loving memories that will forever be cherished by his three sisters, Nora Williams of W-S, NC, Harriet Williams of Whiteville, NC, and Mae Billings of Dillon, SC; his loving step-mother, Ernestine Ingram; his half-brother and best friend, Ernest Ingram; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family visitation will be held from 1:00pm until 2:00pm on Saturday at the Chapel.
