Rose J. Stowe, 65 passed away peacefully May 25, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. Born in Somerset Co., NJ she lived in Plainfield before moving to Winston-Salem in 1968 where she attended WSSU. She worked as an educator in the WS/FCS and retired after over 30 years.

She was a member of the Swing Phi Swing Social Fellowship, Inc. and was active in the community. With love and dedication she raised two children.

She was preceded in death by her father, Culbert Jackson, Sr.; mother, Fannie Jackson; and her brother, Gregory Jackson.
She is survived by her daughters, Dameka (Clarence) and Corrie; 3 granddaughters; 3 sisters; 6 brothers; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Monday, June 1, 2015 at Love & Faith Christian Fellowship, 4344 Blackberry Rd. Greensboro, NC with Pastor Michael Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12noon on Monday at the Church.
