Mr. Rosco Eller was born January 15, 1932 to Wade and Othella Gaither Eller. He departed this earthly home for his heavenly home on October 26, 2016 at the family home.

He attended school in the Midway Community in Davidson County.
Mr. Eller held several employment positions including: The City of Winston-Salem, Sara Lee (Stratford Road), Burns Security Company, and Security Forces, Inc.

He was of the Baptist Faith. Roscoe enjoyed sports, music, and working with machinery.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Billy Joe Eller and Bobby Hairston Eller; sisters, Janie Eller, Hattie Frost, and Ruth Davis; and his daughters, Jackie Leverette and Trenia Tate.

Left to cherish his memories are the love of his life for 49 years, Vernie Mae; his daughters, Alice Arrington (Dan), Beverly Tate, Deborah Douglas, Beverly Ann Douglas, Toria Douglas and Gwendolyn Shaw; sons, Levan Steele, Cecilise Eller, Calvin Tate (Janice), Wade Shaw, Dan Edward Shaw, Clayton Douglas, and Everette Douglas; a sister, Martha Ann Hunter; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1:00pm on Tuesday at the Chapel.
