Mr. Ronald Lee "Pie" Robertson passed away peacefully at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. He was born in Winston-Salem, NC on June 22, 1954 to James and Thomasina Robertson. He was a 1972 graduate of North Forsyth Senior High School. After graduation he joined the US Army and served from 1972 to 1975.

Ronald was known in his community to be someone who was always willing to help people when in need. His friends and family knew him to be a man that could be counted on n good times and bad. His loyalty and desire to protect were always evident.

He was preceded in death by his parents James Robertson, Sr. and Thomasina Robertson; and brothers, James Robertson, Jr. and Chancellor Robertson.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sisters, Delphine (Raleigh) Martin of Walnut Cove, NC, Joyce (Charles) McCullough, Grace Robertson and Linda Robertson all of Winston-Salem, NC; and a host of many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to the Russell Funeral Home staff for the services and support provided.

Private family services will be held at an undisclosed time and date.
