Mr. Ronald Henry Jarrett, affectionately known as "Ronnie", 58, a resident of Hephzibah, GA was born May 27, 1957 in Winston-Salem, NC to William Henry and Dorothy Jarrett. He departed this life on August 10, 2015 at Trinity Hospital of Augusta, GA with his dedicated and devoted wife at his side.
Ronald was a graduate of North Forsyth High School, W-S, NC, Georgia Military College, Augusta, GA, and was employed by the US Postal Service. Ronald was a retired veteran of the US Army. He was baptized at an early age at Saints Home United Methodist Church. Ronald was a quiet, gentle and caring man who will be missed dearly by those who loved him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Debra Robinson; and his brothers, Donald and Reginald Jarrett.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Lorain Stephens Jarrett; children, Ronald Demond Jarrett, Rondeisa (Peter) Jarrett-Schell, Betrice (Sidney) Rollens, and Veronica Jarrett; step-children, Jessica Stephens and Anthony Brown, Jr.; a host of grandchildren; one sister, Gloria Fulton; one brother, William (Panzie) Fulton, Jr.; caring mother-in-law, Bessie "Pearl" Stephens; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, August 15, 2015 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Todd Fulton officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1:00pm on Saturday at the Chapel.
