Obituary
Winston-Salem, NC- Ronald Denard "Bris" Bristow, Sr. 54 passed away Saturday, March 28, 2009 at the Wake Forest University/Baptist Medical Center. He was born on November 16, 1954 in Forsyth County to Alphonso Washington and Mamie Edith Singleton. "Bris" attended Parkland Senior High.
He was preceded in death by his mother and his brother, Timothy Bristow.
He is survived by his wife, Jana Landrum Bristow; three daughters, Sharonda (Tywaun) Martin and Asia Bristow both of Winston-Salem, NC and Ashley Bristow of Durham, NC; one son, Ronald Denard Bristow, Jr.; six sisters, Linda Bristow, Sandra (Dave) Woodson, Phyllis (Curtis) McCants, Wanda Samuels, Cynthia Bristow, and Stephanie Bristow; three brothers, Wilford Powell, Mike Singleton, and Keith Bristow; five grandchildren, Jasmine, Jacquan, Kiara, Dejanae and Deasia; a devoted niece, Monica Bristow; and a host of other nieces, nephews, and loved ones.
He was deeply loved by all and enjoyed life to the fullest. He always brought a smile to your face in his presence and "keeping it real."
Memorial services will be held at 1pm Thursday, April 2, 2009 from the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from Noon until 1pm on Thursday at the Chapel.
