Obituary
Mr. Ronald Bankhead, 53, was born February 20, 1961 in Forsyth County, NC to Alice Lee Bankhead. He passed away September 9, 2014.
Ronald was a graduate of the Forsyth County School System, a member of Diggs Memorial United Holy Church, and employed with Forsyth Seafood.
He was preceded in death by his mother and his father.
Left to cherish his memories are his two daughters, Karema Richmond and Latoria (Billy) Cain; grandchildren, Aariyonna Richmond Wall, Destiny Richmond, Zayna Cain, and ZaKeil Richmond; three sisters, Dianne (Richard) Porter, Dorothy (Richard) Moore, and Sophia Mason; two nieces, DeShonta and Tamika Mason; five nephews, Anthony, James, Nathaniel, Paris, and Maurice; a devoted friend, Jackie Robinson; a host of great-nieces and nephews, cousins, many friends; and his nurse, Maggie McGinness.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday, September 12, 2014 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lamonte Williams officiating. The family visitation will be held from 1:30pm until 2pm on Friday at the Chapel.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to the Hospice and Palliative Care Center, his doctors, and his caregivers.
