Obituary
Mr. Roland "TY" Vanlandingham was born on September 10, 1952 in W-S, NC to Mary K. Robinson. He departed this life September 26, 2015 at the KB Reynolds Hospice Home.
Roland was attended Anderson High School and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He was employed with Facility Logistic Services, LLC for many years.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Cynthia Robinson.
Roland is survived by his mother, Mary K. Robinson; a very devoted daughter, Monica Bristow; son, Travis Bristow all of W-S, NC; daughter, Cherae Burns of Baton Rouge, LA; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Sandra Robinson; four brothers, Terry Robinson, Michael Robinson, Charles Robinson, and Elmer Robinson all of W-S, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, and several friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Serenus T. Churn, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family visitation will be held from 1:30pm until 2:00pm on Saturday at the Church.
