Obituary
Rodney Timothy Johnson was born June 7, 1956 to Sgt. Floyd Daniel and Eula Mae Price Johnson at Womack Army Hospital, Fort Bragg, NC. He was the third child, second, son, of four children born to this union. Like a beautiful bird, he flew away from Forsyth Medical Center on January 31, 2009 and is at peace.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Surviving are his father; one sister, Ylonda Diana Johnson-Hill; two brothers, Sgt. Major Floyd Johnson, Jr. (Gail) and Don Keith Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Saturday, February 7, 2009 from the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Russell Smyre officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12Noon until 1pm on Saturday at the Chapel.
