On Saturday evening June 6, 2009 our beloved mother was called home her work here was done. Rodeno P. Hasseu was formally of 2834 Ansonia Street W-S, NC. She lived with her daughter, Joyce Thatch whom preceded her in death. She took her final flight in Elizabeth City, NC surrounded by loving family members.

To cherish her memories are her two sons, Willie Pledger, Sr. (Wilhelmenia)of Winston-Salem, NC and Eddie Ferebee of Elizabeth City, NC; two daughters, Nellie Blount (James) of Elizabeth City, NC and Ruth Wilson of Winton-Salem, NC; local grandchildren, Michelle Jackson, Christopher (Sandra) Jackson of Raleigh, NC, Charlitta Pledger, Willie Pledger (Joniece), Joshua Pledger, Fetica Grandy, Nathan Ferebee, Ellen Ferebee, Edward Ferebee, and Lisa Stewart; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3pm Saturday, June 13, 2009 at the St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church in Elizabeth City, NC.
