A devoted mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, great, great-grandmother, Mrs. Roberta Morrison Foy, 86, 2809 Banker Ct. was born July 12, 1922 in Chester, SC to Carrie Morrison. Roberta departed this life Tuesday, August 12, 2008 in Winston-Salem, NC.

Roberta was a devout and faithful member of Union Baptist Church and was active in numerous community organizations among these where: Alter Guild Noami Missionary, Community Club, Skyland Senior Citizen Club, and New Bethel Bible Study.

Roberta was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother.

Left to cherish many wonderful memories of a life that touched the hearts of so many are her loving devoted daughter, Loretta Johnson; a loving sister, Bernice Woods of East Orange, NJ; a loving brother, Earnest Cameron of Winston-Salem, NC; a loving granddaughter, Pamela Johnson Hinton of Winston-Salem, NC; a loving grandson, Renzie Johnson Jr. of Winston-Salem, NC; a loving great-grandson, Ryan Johnson of Winston-Salem, NC; a great, great-granddaughter, Saniya Johnson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends; and loving and devoted friends Catherine Christmas and Maggielenn Keit.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Saturday, August 16, 2008 at Union Baptist Church with the Reverend W.O. McCullough officiating. Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory, Walkertown, NC. Family visitation will be held from 12:30 pm until 1pm Saturday at the church.
