Robert Leslie Winbush passed March 8, 2016 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born May 3, 1935 to Reginald J. Winbush, Sr. and Lillian Hayes Winbush in Newark, NJ
.
In addition to his parents Robert was preceded in death by his former wife, Pamela Reye Winbush; brother, Reverend Reginald Winbush, Jr.; and his sister, Vera Patterson.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Marion Broadous Winbush; children, Steffan (Tovanda), Vincent Marc (Erin), and Christopher Winbush, Sharon and Valerie Simpson; ten grandchildren; three sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and special friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, March 19, 2016 at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2400 Dellabrook Rd. W-S, NC 27105 with Reverend Donald Jenkins officiating. The family visitation will be held from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Friday, March 18, 2016 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Scholarship Fund, St. Paul UMC 2400 Dellabrook Rd. W-S, NC 27105 of the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane W-S, NC 27103.
