Remembering Robert Pedro Singletary

"Bobby"

To some he may be forgotten, to other just a part of the past, but to those who loved and lost him, His memory will always last.  Just a cluster of beautiful memories, sprayed with millions of tears, wishing that God could have spared his life for just a few more years.

Robert Pedro Singletary, aka "Bobby", was born November 15, 1979 to Izel McNeil and Ferley Singletary in Charleston, SC.  He departed this life December 27, 2020.

Bobby attended the Winston-Salem Forsyth County schools, graduating from Parkland Senior High, class of 1998, and also from Forsyth Technical College, class of 2000.  He was self employed and worked at UPS and Tyson Foods.

Bobby was a former member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church.  He loved the Easton Community and would be there for any of the residents if they needed him.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

He leaves not to mourn but to cherish dear memories, his parents, Izel McNeil and Ferley Singletary of the city; two children, a son, Keyon  (KJ) Singletary and his mother, Keyona Holley; and one daughter, Avyana Singletary and her mother, Apryll Pittman, all of the city; one brother, Damont Singletary of Bronx, NY; an adopted brother, Amos Mouzon of the city; one sister, Dr. Tamika Singletary-Johnson (Dontre) of Virginia Beach, VA;  two step-children, Naudia Price and Gregory Williams of the city; one grandchild, Marlee  Mercer of the city; three nieces, Keyani, Jada, and Madeline Singletary of Bronx, NY; two nephews, Justin Singletary of Tampa, Florida and Xavier Singletary Bailey of Virginia Beach, VA; an uncle/grandfather, Willie Mouzon of the city; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends .

A viewing will be held from 12noon until 5:00pm Friday, January 1, 2021 at Russell Funeral Home. Private services Saturday, January 2, 2021.
